緩衝空間
街道與廣場交接的地帶關鍵的決定空間的成敗。理想而言，這個轉換不應該讓使用者有明顯的暗示。例如公園前方的人行道應該與公園相互整合：人行道上的樹、花槽與坐緣相鄰等。在這樣轉換的空間，可以看見人們自在的找地方等朋友或聊天。
Transition Zone
The area where the street and the plaza or open space meet is a key to success of failure. Ideally the transformation should be such that it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. The sidewalk in front of the park should be an integral part of the park. With trees stretching over the sidewalk, urns of flowers at the curb and sitting ledges. Here you can find someone waiting for some-one else, people sitting on the ledges and in the middle of it people are in conversations.
